Whichever day of the week book a day visit and let's have some fun. You might end up learning to crack a stock whip or cook some damper around the fire, you will spend time down at the animal nursery feeding the animals and milking the cow. Come on a tractor ride to feed the cattle or horses. Throw a boomerang, go for a ride on a pony. Come on a trail ride ($47PP) try your hand at archery, canoeing, tennis or just relax.

Day visit and Horse ride package, pre-booked

Birthday Parties are loads of fun on the farm, arrive 1.00pm lunch in the Coach House (come in and decorate) after lunch out we go and ride the ponies, visit the animal nursery, even milk the cow! If we still have time we might do some sack races and games in the field. An afternoon of fun for all ages. The day finishes about 4.30pm. This is a birthday party with a difference that's for sure!

A horse ride is a great gift idea, include it as part of a day visit.

STOP PRESS:
Our joint project with Phoenix Rising Books, 'we can make a difference' the planting of native trees is UNDERWAY! We have 48 trees to plant after our first weekend. Soon we will upload a farm map to show you the stages.
You can buy a tree for $5.00. We will plant it, manage it and send you a map showing which project stage your plantings are in.
This project is aimed to prevent soil loss, provide shelter for farm animals and an environment for native animals. It will also help improve the soil in a natural way. Each tree comes from seedlings harvested from within 5km of Mowbray Park. Join us, we can make a difference together.

The documentary 'With the Best of Intentions' was filmed at Mowbray Park because it's about the lives of the Orphans who lived here from 1929 to 1959, we have copies of the DVD and we have the book, $35 for both or$20 each, learn about this significant part of our European history and the part Mowbray Park played.

We are now on Twitter and Facebook! Keep an eye out for us. We are offering a special to people who follow our updates on either of these sites: horse rides for $43!

We have now planted 3000 trees.
( August 2011)
Mowbray Park's commitment to the environment is well demonstrated by this achievement.   We have a  timber plantation growing and with a bit of help from The Dept of Forestry (thanks guys) we have some great education information as well.

Keeping you up to date with all the goings on, we have just about completed the infrastructure works for our aquaponics system, still a bit to go but we want to keep to schedule and have trials running by the end of of the year.

The pool is finished, updated and warming up right now, the tennis court is also finished so bring your gear.

We made the finals of the Greater Sydney Tourism Awards and on the night we came away with a special commendation award. Blair said it was for the staff.

We also won the Macarthur Sustainable Business Award for 2010. It was a great evening with many prominent businesses from the Macarthur region in attendance. UWS want to do a case study on the property and the Minister for Water and Infrastructure wants to come out and have a look at what we're doing. It's great recognition for what we all believe in here.
