Farm Animal Fun
Farm activities are central to the Mowbray Park FarmStay experience, children (and adults) love the animal nursery. You will help us feed animals of all sizes: donkey, Goats, chickens and sheep; you might help bottle feed a calf; you will certainly help us milk our cow.
Pony rides are very popular with our little guests so make sure you join us for this activity! If you are 8yrs or older, you might be a bit big for our ponies, let us know early we have limited horses available for the bigger kids.
If you’re not participating in one of our supervised activities then that’s a perfect opportunity to enjoy some of our self supervised activities: canoeing, archery, tennis, swimming, and fishing (BYO rod).
This is hands on tourism at its best, fill your photo album with great memories. Engage your children in our agricultural past as we share with you our agricultural future; after all it’s a future we all need!
