Frequently Asked Questions

What clothes to bring?    Outdoor clothing, be sun wise and be prepared for wet weather. Covered    shoes when you’re out and about on the farm

Do I need to bring drinking water?  No we have filtered tank water for each lodge but bring a water bottle make sure you have it with you when we’re out on activities

BYO linen, what’s that mean?   Bring sheets, pillow slips and towels. We can arrange supply but at $35PP we reckon it’s worth bringing them! Queen beds and singles.

Self cater, what do I bring? Your food drinks etc. There is a kitchen in each lodge with all you need, oven, fridge, microwave, cutlery, plates, pots and pans BBQ as well. Tea and coffee in each lodge

Can I bring pets?  As a rule we say no, it’s a working farm and our own dogs interact with guests, talk to us though if you’re in a jam we can see if we can assist.

Do you have a shop on the farm?  No we do not; we’re just 9km from Picton which has two supermarkets and plenty of dining choices.

Which accommodation would suit us best?  Depends on your numbers, we have seven lodges that range from two bedrooms to nine, within our accommodation tab you can select each lodge and take a 3D tour to understand layouts.  Check Accommodation

Can I come for a day? Yes you can, you need to book online then make sure you’re at the farm before 9.30am as that is when the farm experience tour begins. Come a bit earlier and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, available all day.  Day Visits

Do you offer horse riding?  No we do not, pony rides only for children 8 yrs and under which is part of our daily routine. For horse rides ring Endeavour Park, they’re just up the road from us and ride in the afternoons their number 46 597003

 

What else is there to do in the area?  There are a number of things that are worth a visit, Transport Heritage NSW have a spectacular train museum in Thirlmere (10 minutes away) Picton Karting Track or even Sydney Skydiving. For nature lovers the Thirlmere Lakes walk, Pot Holes Reserve. Farm gate sales? Cedar Creek Orchard, our neighbours Mowbray Park Produce, pick your own at Berry Delicious , you’ll need more than a couple of nights!
